More than 100,000 students from Ukraine attend Polish schools, and their number is growing every day. Polish teachers admit them to their classes, trying to create favorable conditions for them to learn in our educational realities. However, they face the problem of the language barrier. Ukrainian students often have too little knowledge of Polish to be able to use Polish-language textbooks, exercises and worksheets. At the same time, due to the differences in the core curricula of Poland and Ukraine, the subject taught in the Polish class is not always adequate to the current skills of Ukrainian students.

That is why the Pi-station team decided to translate all educational resources available on pistacja.tv into Ukrainian. We believe that it will make it easier for Polish teachers to find and recommend to Ukrainian students the video lessons and exercises of Pi-station. It will also allow students from Ukraine to find and use them on their own.

We start by adding Ukrainian subtitles to our videos. They will also be available on our  YouTube. channels. More than 250 Ukrainian subtitles have already been added and all films will be subtitled by the end of May 2022. At the same time, we will start translating exercises and additional materials, as well as describing the resources with the requirements of the Ukrainian core curriculum in Polish and Ukrainian, so that Polish teachers can easily find out in which class a given topic is implemented in the Ukrainian education system.
