Foreigners who came from Ukraine to Poland from February 24 this year and meet certain conditions, may be covered by temporary protection.The confirmation of using temporary protection is a certificate issued free of charge by the Office for Foreigners.It is not necessary to submit written applications – personal contact with the representative of the office is enough.However, it is necessary to provide documents confirming that before February 24 this year.the foreigner was protected in Ukraine, resided legally in Ukraine on the basis of a valid permanent residence permit and is not able to return to the country or region of origin in safe conditions.The matter can be settled in person at the seat of the office in Warsaw at ul.Taborowa 33 and in the office delegation in Biała Podlaska at ul.Dokudowska 19.
