As Mental Health Helpline, we care about helpers – we know that they do very important work for others. We also know how important it is for them to take care of themselves as well.
Therefore, we provide:
-> Support groups – in PL, UKR and ENG – led by specialists,
-> Psychological training for volunteers, containing information on: how to help wisely; what are the limits of aid; how to take care of the charges; how to take care of yourself; and many many other issues in the field of psychology. We also deal in educational terms with topics that are contributed by meeting participants – thanks to this, the information we provide is always adequate to the needs of the helpers.
-> Individual psychological support – for helpers in Krakow (regardless of nationality, in three languages: PL, UKR, ENG) and for refugees.
Thanks to the involvement of business – Heineken, Air Liquide, Fondation Air Liquide – this help is free for all volunteers and other helpers. The Mental Health Helpline, together with the Diversity Hub, is responsible for the coordination of this assistance within the framework of the Open Krakow Coalition, using its own resources and cooperating in this matter mainly with the Multicultural Center and the Zustricz Foundation.
