In our first post, we prepared a special database of useful information for parents of children coming to our country from Ukraine. Here are the most important tips on education issues.
School enrolment
The Ministry of Education and Science has prepared a special guidebook with practical tips on how to enrol a child in school, as well as what rights foreign students have in Polish schools. The materials are available in both Polish and Ukrainian.
Support for Ukrainian children with special educational needs
Pupils with special educational needs can benefit from psychological and pedagogical assistance in Polish kindergartens and schools, regardless of whether they have additional documents. You can find more information on this topic, as well as applications for the relevant certificates, here.
Psycho-pedagogical counselling centres
Throughout the country, refugees from Ukraine can find support for their children at psychological and pedagogical counselling centres – for example, a database of available centres in Warsaw is available here. Facilities offering psychological support for children can also be found in our Mapuj Pomoc database by selecting the category PSYCHOLOGIST

Online learning materials
The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine has prepared an information guide for children, parents and teachers on current online resources and portals that enable Ukrainian children to study abroad.
