The Society of Friends of Ukraine (TPU) is part of the ”International Staff for Aid to Ukrainians” – an organization that operates in 75 countries. At the moment, over 250 volunteers work within TPU structures. We have a systematized and effective structure, divided into well-managed teams:
1.base of accommodation and refugees,
2.transport base in Poland and abroad,
3.base of warehouses and material assistance,
4.volunteer database,
5.legal base,
6.media and PR database,
7.the base of logistics and convoys,
8. database of finances.
We cooperate with aid organizations in Poland and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, England, Denmark, Austria).
We organize humanitarian aid collection points from which material aid and medicines are sent directly to those in need both in Ukraine and Poland.
We provide food, clothing and hygiene products for refugees in Poland. We have created a database of over 5,000 people who offering host refugees, and over 1,000 companies offering jobs. We located several thousand Ukrainian families in Polish homes.
Currently, we strongly support medical services, supplying them with cars for transporting the wounded, sick, etc.
We took care of the evacuated three orphanages from Ukraine (from the Chmielnik and Vinnytsia regions), we placed 330 children in Kashubia and 68 children in Polanica Zdrój.
