The Słowiańska Jedność Association was founded in May 2022 in response to the need to support Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave their country as a result of the war. Seeing a growing demand for this kind of social activity, people with experience in activities for those in need decided to set up the Association in order to be able to help even more effectively in a systematic and structured way. One of the objectives of Slavonic Unity is to conduct and support informational, educational, scientific, social and cultural activities aiming at the assimilation of Ukrainians in Poland. In the future, we want to create a Slavic Unity Centre – a place where language classes, training, consultations, as well as professional and legal advice will be provided. Our activities also include on-going support for soldiers fighting at the front and the wounded, through the organisation of collections from which all funds are transferred directly to those in need in Ukraine.
