The Poviat Family Assistance Centre in Olsztyn is an independent organisational unit of the Olsztyn Poviat performing its own tasks and those assigned by the Poviat in the field of social assistance.

Within the Centre’s structure there are care and educational institutions, hereinafter referred to as „children’s homes”, which provide round-the-clock care and upbringing for children totally or partially deprived of care, for whom no other form of help has been found.
