When should you contact 991?

when you notice damage to power lines, damage to locks or entrances to energy facilities (e.g. broken padlocks, damaged hinges, open doors to substations)
if you notice that there is no power in your neighbourhood/municipality
when you notice that a meter is not working properly and is causing a power failure or a danger to life and property
you have replaced a pre-meter fuse and broken the seal
in the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 991.

When the power goes out
check the fuses, if they are working:
ask your neighbours if they have no electricity either:
see if there is no power throughout the street, if there isn’t:
check if your electricity supplier knows about the power cut in your locality/district
