NOMADA Association is a non-governmental organization in Wrocław which working for human rights. We work among migrant communities, ethnic and religious minorities and excluded groups. We operate mainly in Wrocław and intervene to meet the needs of people from other cities. Furthermore, we provide free counseling on such issues as documenting residence and work in Poland, international protection and violence motivated by prejudice. We also work in the field assisting our clients and customers in offices, schools, hospitals, courts, police. We support the education of children from the Romanian Roma migrant community living in Wrocław, and we work with people in the Guarded Center for Foreigners in Krosno Odrzańskie.
The main methods of our activities are: legal support, development and educational projects, monitoring and advocacy, intervention assistance, training, conferences, debates and publications.
We run the Miejsce Otwarte. Centre for Intercultural Integration in Wrocław.
