Maltańskie Centrum Pomocy Niepełnosprawnym Dzieciom i Ich Rodzinom | Malta Centre for Disabled Children and their Families
The Malta Centre for the Assistance of Disabled Children and Their Families in Krakow, under an agreement with the Malta Medical Service and with financial support from Ordre de Malta France, has been implementing the programme ‘Therapeutic support for Ukrainian children with disabilities’ since September this year. The programme will last until the end of 2024. It is currently benefiting 15 children.
As part of the programme, the Centre provides appropriate therapy and long-term rehabilitation to children of Ukrainian migrants in Poland who require specialised assistance. The youngest patients, aged between 0 and 7 years, find help from a specialist team, where each child receives comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. The therapy combines the care of a psychologist, special educationalist, speech therapist, neurologist, physiotherapist, sensory integration therapist and, in addition, specialist doctors.
