Gliwice Przystań 35 is another real dimension of cooperation between local government and business. Thanks to the enormous commitment of IKEA Katowice, Johnson Matthey, Mapei, AIUT, Radan, a unique place was created, which for the foreseeable future will be a home for our neighbors from Ukraine, who, fleeing the war, ended up in Gliwice. The facility is under the care of the OPS.
In addition to the possibility of direct contact in Gliwice Przystań 35, a special hotline has been in operation since June.
Contact in Ukrainian: 514 149 611
Contact in Polish: 506 371 325.
Both numbers are staffed on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition, OPS employees (at the Center’s headquarters at 9 Górnych Wałów Street) assist in obtaining financial support. A one-time cash benefit of PLN 300, family and social assistance benefits, as well as school scholarships – such assistance can be obtained by citizens of Ukraine. Visits can be arranged through a form on the OPS website.
