Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Medyk dla Zdrowia Foundation has been actively involved in helping refugees arriving in Podkarpacie.
We have established a clinic for refugees, where we employ doctors and nurses from Ukraine, and we welcome patients who have fled to Poland from areas affected by the war with Russia. The clinic is located on the the Rzeszów University of Technology, in a building at Podkarpacka 1 Street.
At the same time, we make sure that people with medical education, who come to our country, can quickly adapt to the Polish labor market – that’s why we offer people with medical education the opportunity to learn Polish.
We have also launched the Mały Medyk Kindergarten (ul. Dąbrowskiego 33a,), where we provide children with the care of qualified Polish-Ukrainian staff, a psychologist, doctor and nurse, learning Polish in the form of fun, meals and additional activities tailored to the child’s interests. The kindergarten is open from Monday to Friday from 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
We also offer psychological support in center of diagnosis and psychotherapy POMOC (ul. Dąbrowskiego 33a)
