Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Foundation ”Poland-Ukraine Institute” has been actively helping victims of the war who are looking for refuge in Krakow.

Giving information

The portal UainKrakow.pl works under the aegis of the foundation. We inform you about the most important events in the city and in the country, we tell you how to legalize your stay, where to find a job and medical care, how to get an education and live in Poland. In addition, we write about local events and projects regarding Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. Since the beginning of the war, the website regularly publishes information on how to help Ukraine in Krakow and advice for people looking for refuge in Lesser Poland voivodeship

Refugee assistance point

Together with Salam Lab, the ”Zustricz” Foundation, Multicultural Center, JCC Krakow and ”Szlachetna Paczka” in Krakow, we have created the Help Point ”Live in Krakow”, which is located at: ul. Radziwiłłowska 3, where you can find temporary accommodation and find out everything they need to stay in the city.

We support families with ill children who need palliative care in Ukraine and Poland

The Foundation sends medicines and other types of humanitarian aid to Ukrainian palliative units and social organizations. In addition, he helps families with seriously ill children, who ended up in Krakow and other Polish cities as a result of the war, in crossing the border, adapting to a new place and meeting other basic needs.

The ”Institute Poland-Ukraine” Foundation is a member of the ”Open Krakow” Coalition.
