Fundacja dla Wolności | Foundation for Freedom
At the center of our interests are foreigners and it is to them that we address the most important activities. We promote diversity of cultures and worldviews. We work to integrate and improve the situation of refugees, migrants, women and other groups at risk of exclusion.
In response to the growing number of children and young people with migration experience studying in Warsaw schools, the Foundation for Freedom has prepared free intercultural workshops for grades I-VIII and training for male and female teachers.
We run the “Etnoliga” project. – We integrate migrants and refugees, women and discriminated people by playing soccer. We promote fair play, break stereotypes and learn from each other.
From April 1, 2023 we meet on Saturdays from 11:30-18:15 at the “Mermaid” field in Olszyna Park, Bielany, Warsaw
Support for refugees and refugee women from Ukraine:
We currently run a support point for adults, primarily women (orientation, language and other workshops), and at 85 Chmielna Street we run a day care center for children. Both ventures are run with partners who complement our activities with, among other things, psychological assistance.
We offer consultations, support in finding jobs and housing, orientation courses, Polish language instruction.
In addition, the foundation runs a permanent day care center for children with experience of forced migration at the Debak-Podkowa Leśna center for foreigners, as well as integration and other activities to support refugees in the local community.
