The Acceptance Foundation is the only organisation in Wielkopolska established and run by transgender people.

Currently our activities focus on pre-medical first aid for people at risk of social exclusion.

We run courses, workshops and instructions. We have our own lifeguards, rescue equipment and conduct preventive examinations. We cooperate with doctors and health care professionals.

Scope of services:

• Stationary ultrasound laboratory (doctors from Ukraine receive radiologists)
• Mobile dermatology clinic (dermatoscopic examination of nevi for the diagnosis of melanoma).
• Diagnostic laboratory (range of tests available at nzozmedycznaakceptacja.pl)
• National and international medical and sanitary transports directly to and from Ukraine (website still under construction bezpiecznepowroty.org.pl)
• We have now launched psychological support for Ukrainian children and adults, led (individually and in groups) by psychologists from Ukraine.
• Until the end of the year, we are implementing a project to provide material support to chronically and terminally ill children with UNICEF funds – only for those in Poznań).

At the same time, on the sidelines of our main activities, we are constantly promoting awareness of transgender people. We carry out these activities by creating a positive image of trans people, which we try to promote by showing us in public spaces and engaging in various activities aimed at counteracting exclusion and discrimination.
