Support Center for Foreigners – The project involves supporting migrants (speaking Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian) in the area of legalization of stay, work and education, as well as matters of everyday life in Poland. Foreigners can contact the Foreigners Support Center operating at the headquarters of the OKNO NA WSCHÓD Foundation, where they can receive comprehensive support from consultants in the legalization of their stay and assistance from specialists in translating documents, Polish language courses, services of a lawyer/legal advisor and a psychologist.

For whom?

The project is addressed to Russian-speaking people in a migration situation staying in the Podlaskie Voivodeship and throughout Poland.

Project activities:

  • consultant’s assistance in the field of:
    – legalization of stay
    – work and education (kindergartens/schools/universities)
    – medical services
    – everyday life in Poland (renting an apartment, benefits)
  • support of a career advisor/job agent,
  • services of a lawyer/legal advisor,
  • sworn translations of documents,
  • psychologist support

The Okno Na Wschód Foundation runs the Białystok Active Women’s Club, which aims to strengthen and support the immigrant community in Białystok, promoting integration, mutual support and self-development.
