Centrum Obywatelskiej Pomocy im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego | Civic Assistance Center
In 2022, we received a grant from the Patriot Fund for the establishment of the Eugene Kwiatkowski Civic Center in Tarnopolska Wola. The value of the grant is PLN 200,000. As part of the project, we bought land and shipping containers, which we renovated and set our next office there. It houses our hotline, AQQ, which is a children’s playroom, as well as the headquarters of the Foundation’s branches: PES, a social economy entity that aims to provide training and perpetuate local and regional heritage (with an emphasis on Lasovian culture). The COP (whose name refers to the historic Central Industrial District) hosts educational and cultural meetings and animations for children. Recipients are Poles and refugees, and so far admission to all events has been free. We estimate that the CID has already benefited approx. 500 people (from December 2023 to March 2023).
