What have we been able to achieve?

Borussia volunteers prepared and conducted activities for children from Ukraine staying in two centers: Ostróda CAMP and Rewita Waplewo;
On March 4, in cooperation with the Union of Ukrainians in Poland, Olsztyn branch, we organized an „Evening of Solidarity with Friends from Ukraine”, which gathered several dozen people of culture: writers, poets, musicians, artists, actors. The Mendelsohn House resounded with a unique polyphony of voices of solidarity with Ukraine, a voice of empathy and empathy for the Ukrainians, but also of dissent and protest against the aggression and violence they experience.

How do we currently work?

We provide individual support to people in need;
We run the initiative „Dinner without borders. Warmia and Mazury is helping” – it is a food collection campaign which we run in Mendelsohn’s House in response to a direct request from our Ukrainian friends. All food products collected during the campaign go directly to Równe in Ukraine. From there, they are transported further to Kiev, where restaurateurs affiliated with the National Association of Ukrainian Restaurateurs prepare meals and serve them free of charge at 400 points throughout the city to soldiers, medics, children and people with disabilities.
