Reframery: Support for developing one’s own economic activities in Poland for male and female migrants from Ukraine.

Recruitment is ongoing for Reframery—a program offering support in developing or establishing your own economic activity. Reframery provides access to an individual virtual entrepreneurship incubator as well as group mentoring sessions. The incubator program will be tailored to the needs of participants, who will be able to discuss and refine their business idea, better understand their market, receive support in planning their marketing strategy, and build relationships with future clients. People who have already started their activities and are interested in further developing their business can also apply. The program is aimed at individuals from Ukraine who are residing in Poland and planning to conduct their business there.

Course Details: Modules, Duration, Recruitment

Standard modules that will be featured in Reframery include

  • Developing Your Own Entrepreneurship,
  • Business Models,
  • Corporate Social Responsibility,
  • Marketing Strategies and Social Media (Facebook, Instagram),
  • Sources of Financial Capital and Resource Acquisition,
  • Learning from Mistakes,
  • Websites and Domains.

These are suggestions that will be expanded based on the needs of the participants after individual discussions with each of them. The course will last 15 weeks. The minimum time commitment is one hour per week plus an hour and a half meeting with a mentor every two weeks. The entire program will be conducted online.

The program will be available in both English and Ukrainian. Participation is free and concludes with the issuance of a certificate. Further support will also be available upon completion of the training. The recruitment process ends on September 3, 2023. In the case of high interest in the project, the organizers reserve the right to close recruitment earlier. After this period, interviews will be conducted with participants to understand their expectations and needs regarding the program. The course is expected to start in the latter part of September or early October.



The program is carried out by McMaster University in Canada, with support from the Warsaw School of Economics and the Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives.
