The crisis related to the migration of people from Ukraine has brought new challenges to the Polish social sector. According to data from the Central Statistical Office, in 2022 approximately 17 thousand associations and foundations took action on behalf of people in need of help in connection with the war waged on the territory of Ukraine, which means that every fourth Polish organization is involved in helping refugees.

Two years later, there are still around 1 million refugees from Ukraine in our country. Organizations are facing new challenges and needs in the new reality. The report: When work in crisis becomes everyday life analyzes these changes and indicates the need to adapt the strategy of action.
