
Natolin Fellowship Programme is an initiative co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania within the EU4YOUTH project. The new scholarship programme is aimed at young people from Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia. Below are the details that are worth knowing before joining the application process.
A multi-faceted development program
The Natolin Fellowship Programme aims to provide young professionals and researchers with a diverse programme that includes professional skills workshops, knowledge-based modules, language courses, mentoring and internship opportunities, supporting their soft skills development and increasing their employability. The programme offers access to relevant networking opportunities, enabling the building of valuable professional relationships.
Support for European integration
By participating in the Programme, young people from Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia can contribute to the process of further European integration of their countries. The Natolin Fellowship Programme also enables them to embed their research in the context of European issues from different scientific disciplines, in a safe, academic and technologically advanced environment.
Support for people with fewer opportunities
The program not only engages young professionals and researchers, but also supports people with fewer opportunities who face various obstacles, such as disabilities, cultural differences or economic obstacles. The Natolin Fellowship Program works to eliminate barriers and discrimination, ensuring equal access to professional and personal development opportunities for all participants.
Each selected participant in the program will receive a monthly stipend of €1,197. This funding is intended to cover living costs and other necessities. Partial funding for return travel to the country of origin is provided up to €530. Selected participants will also receive a prize of up to €1,000 to attend international conferences or research. The program also covers insurance costs for the entire duration of the program.
Programme registration
The Natolin Fellowship Programme offers an 8-month professional programme, which is funded through special scholarships, which allows all accepted participants to participate regardless of their financial situation. To qualify for the Programme, the applicant must:
- be a citizen of Ukraine, Moldova or Georgia,
- be over 35 years old,
- be enrolled in doctoral studies at a university in Ukraine, Moldova or Georgia or be a recent (within 12 months of the date of graduation) graduate of doctoral studies at universities in the relevant countries,
- hold a Master’s degree or equivalent (240 ECTS); for PhD graduates, a PhD degree awarded by universities or other educational institutions in Ukraine, Moldova or Georgia. This may include joint or double Master/PhD programmes developed by universities from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia in cooperation with other institutions in Europe,
- have a knowledge of English (at least level B1 or higher, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)).
