Polish Red Cross begins recruitment for the ‘Together to Independence’ programme
‘Together to Independence’ is a nationwide programme dedicated to Ukrainian citizens under temporary protection in Poland and living in collective accommodation centres. The activities offered under the Programme are aimed at helping them to become independent by leaving the centres, benefiting from professional counselling and participating in integration and adaptation events.
WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE PROGRAMME?
The Programme is open to persons with a valid PESEL number with an assigned UKR status and living in collective accommodation centres in 9 voivodeships: Dolnośląskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Lubelskie, Łódzkie, Mazowieckie, Opolskie, Podkarpackie, Pomorskie or Świętokrzyskie. In the remaining voivodeships, the Programme is implemented by the Polish Centre for International Aid Foundation.
WHAT SUPPORT CAN YOU RECEIVE UNDER THE PROGRAMME?
A subsidy for the deposit and part of the rent of a dwelling (flat or room) for six months and support in completing the tenancy formalities.
Subsidised moving expenses and a voucher for the purchase of equipment for your rented dwelling.
Support from a vocational counsellor in finding a job and developing one’s possibilities on the Polish labour market.
Opportunity to participate in a Polish language course.
Benefiting from an offer of integration and adaptation events.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE PROGRAMME?

Complete an application to participate in the Programme through [Application Form].
The person completing and submitting the application form will act as the sole representative of the household at all other stages of the project.
The tenancy agreement submitted to the PCK will only be considered valid if it is concluded with the person who completed and sent the application form.
Regardless of which language version of the application form you choose, your answers to all OPEN questions must be provided in Polish – in large, capital letters.
We will contact you by phone within 7 working days to verify your application and let you know what documents we will need.
We will meet with you to verify the documents supporting the criteria for participation in the Programme.
Upon successful verification, you will be issued with a certificate of acceptance into the Programme.
From the moment you are accepted into the Programme, you will have 30 days to find suitable housing and provide a signed tenancy agreement.
Once the Support Agreement is concluded, the subsidy will be transferred directly to the bank account of the owner of the dwelling.
