The Foundation for Polish-Ukrainian International Cooperation is a young Foundation which was registered recently but its members for more than a year acted as an initiative group, engaged in volunteer activities, helped Ukrainian women and children who were forced to leave as a result of the hostilities in Ukraine. We mainly provided professional psychological assistance, conducted individual consultations, self-help groups “Women’s Circle”, breakfasts for women, master classes, training.

The Women’s Circle is a self-help group for women in need of psycho-emotional support. The Circle meets once a week, and is moderated by professional psychologists with experience in group work – Olena Ovsyannikova (who has 20 years of experience working with women who have received psychological trauma and survived violent situations) and Kateryna Voronchenko (who has experience in organizing and conducting group psychological coaching marathons for adults and children). In total, the group has 200 women who are united in a telegram group where they have the opportunity to communicate. At the “Women’s Circle” women have the opportunity to discuss their most painful issues, support each other, share their achievements, gain experience of new social behaviors, receive emotional support, and attend workshops and meetings with interesting successful women who motivate participants to change their lives and attitudes. To date, Circles have already been held on the following topics:
– Women’s health
– How to properly set and achieve goals
– Why modern relationships are falling apart
– Female friendship, myth or reality
– A master class in gingerbread baking
– How fairy tales influence life scenarios
– Own boundaries in relationships
– 365 days of indestructibility
– Photo therapy.
– Why we put off living life and how to start living life to the fullest
– Meetings on topics: Emotions. Conflicts of different generations. Relationships with parents. Relationships with
Relatives of the spouse. Relationships with children. Anxiety states. Women’s interests.
– Culinary training,
– Workshops on handicrafts,
– Information sessions on tax laws in Poland and legalization of life in Poland.
– And others.

All our activities are aimed at improving the psycho-emotional condition of those affected by the war.
