The Ukrainian Center for Education Foundation is a non-governmental organization whose main goal is to educate and integrate Ukrainians living in Poland. Therefore, since 2016, we have been implementing our main activity, which is running a Ukrainian school in Poland – the Materynka school. The school is run in Warsaw. At the beginning of the 2021/2022 school year, we had about 200 students from Ukraine in our Materynka school. The situation in connection with the martial law in Ukraine has become for us both a challenge and a real undertaking of new activities within our Foundation. As the refugee crisis has led to an increase in the number of families with schoolchildren in Poland, we have started to admit new students – refugees, to our Ukrainian Materynka school in Warsaw. In our school, we implement an education program compatible with both the education system in Ukraine and the Ministry of Education in Ukraine.
