We help refugee children from Ukraine.

Right now the majority of our activities is focused on organizing “train the trainer” courses: Polish as a foreign language & Psycho-Social Support. In peacetime, we help youth from foster care become independent and gain self-esteem as they enter adulthood. We do this by teaching basic cooking skills. We believe that cooking is a super power; it helps people connect with each other, lead healthier and self sufficient lives.

1) Foster care

We support young people from orphanages by organizing workshops and offering individual consultations at the Warsaw Family Support Center

2) Refugee children

Refugee children are particularly stressed by instability and uncertainty. They miss their hometowns and they have to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances. We carry out regular activities to give them sense of safety and help them feel better. In collaboration with KIK, we fund and organize Polish classes at Ukrainian school in Warsaw.

3) Teachers and care takers

We organise a course in Polish as a foreign language for teachers and a course in psychosocial support for teachers and caregivers – it is important that teachers working with Ukrainian children have basic skills to deal with stress and emotional upset.
