The Aleksandra FOSA Foundation for Social Support, based at 42 Chopina Street in Gdańsk, runs the Information and Consultation Point (PIK), which offers free support to residents of Gdańsk in the field of mental health and addiction problems. The main aim of the PIK is to provide quick access to specialists in crisis situations, without the need for prior registration or waiting.
As part of PIK’s activities, the FOSA Foundation offers:
Psychological support: consultations with psychologists and crisis interventionists for people in urgent life situations.
Information on available forms of help: providing information on the current offer of support in the area of mental health and addiction available in Gdansk.

The FOSA Foundation also carries out other projects related to crisis intervention, such as mobile duty psychologists-interventionists, offering intervention-assistance support to the inhabitants of Gdańsk in agreement with the City Social Welfare Centre.
