Caritas Diecezji Opolskiej continues to help support refugees from Ukraine.
Registration is only available by phone at 600 491 929 and 604 139 102, from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Calls will be answered by Ukrainian-speaking staff.
During the phone conversation, a date for a meeting will be agreed upon at the office of the Caritas Diecezji Opolskiej Refugee Centre at Szpitalna 5a in Opole. The first and most important condition for receiving assistance is arrival in Poland after 24 February 2022, possession of a passport (or a child’s birth certificate) and a document confirming the assignment of a PESEL number.
Eligibility criteria
People who can apply for assistance are
people with cancer (doctor’s certificate),
persons with a sick leave certificate (disability certificates of groups I and II), regardless of age,
persons with a certificate of incapacity for work (disability certificate of group III) of retirement age, women aged 65 and men aged 70,
people of retirement age, i.e. women over 65 and men over 70,
single mothers raising children under the age of 3,
persons who have arrived in Poland since 1 April 2024 and have not received any assistance from Caritas Diecezji Opolskiej.
Persons who do not meet the eligibility criteria are
full families with children (two parents are in Poland),
single adults,
students.
We kindly inform you that the condition for receiving assistance from Caritas Diecezji Opolskiej is residence on the territory of Diecezja Opolska.
