The Romincka Forest Foundation has been cooperating with Ukrainian partners since 2014. We have implemented many cool projects related to self-governance, nature protection and the development of a volunteer fire brigade. We intensified our activities with the outbreak of the war. We conducted fundraising events, obtained grants from various funds, and involved a lot of our own funds. We managed to provide a lot of typical humanitarian aid to internal refugees in western Ukraine, we supported the rescue services in the Chernivtsi region (we donated equipment, radio stations, quad bikes, protective suits, and a pneumatic rescue tent). We have created and equipped a voluntary medical patrol in the Ukrainian Carpathians, under which young doctors, medical assistants and nurses visit the places where refugees are dislocated and provide assistance to them. We are currently preparing aid for Ukrainian soldiers. In November, we will bring them equipment, winter clothes, food and sleeping bags.
