The Humanitarian Aid Center in Shegini was created as a result of a grassroots initiative of several private individuals who joined forces for a common goal: to provide warmth to Ukrainians fleeing the war, waiting in long lines at the border crossing.

Our projects:

1) Good package – preparation and transport of packages containing food, hygiene products and products for children to survive several days in a shelter or in areas cut off from current supplies. The parcels reach the regions of Ukraine affected by the war, in particular smaller towns where larger organizations do not provide help. These are small villages in the vicinity of Sumy, Kiev, Kharkiv, Irpien or Bucza, which have been partially destroyed and are now facing the growing problem of hunger.

2) Maintaining the Humanitarian Aid Center in Shegini – the situation on the border is not as dramatic as at the beginning of the war, but we want to keep our Center and be ready to support new waves of refugees.

3) 2000 beds in Ukraine – a project focused on helping people who have lost their homes. We find, verify and equip schools and private buildings in Ukraine, where you can create accommodation at a minimum cost.

4) Mobile Medical Point – only in the first day of our presence at the border crossing in Szegini, we provided medical aid to several dozen people. We have helped exhausted, hypothermic refugees suffering from panic attacks, as well as people requiring immediate medical attention: a woman in an advanced stage of pregnancy or an elderly man with a heart attack. As of today, our assistance at the border is not so crucial anymore, but it is needed in other, hard-to-reach regions of Ukraine. Funding a mobile medical point will help us get there.
