(On 26.01.2023 and 10.02.2023 the Unitatem Foundation conducted a direct evacuation of people from the train station in Lviv. A full bus of people safely reached our shelters. We are preparing more evacuations to help the fleeing people find their way to our safe centers).

Since the beginning of our activities, we have provided shelter to more than 6000 people fleeing the war. At present, about 400 people remain in our care. Our guests are mainly women and children from really poor areas, who find shelter and safety with us.
We are the only non-state shelter in the area that welcomes national minorities. We are the only ones who help them, because no one wants to take care of them. They are mainly large families (young mothers with 7-10 children).

We provide them with psychological help after the trauma they have experienced.
We also accept whole families at our center in Jarosław.

We do not have a time limit for refugees, so many people in our centers have been with us since the beginning of the war.
For people staying with us for more than 120 days we do not get funding from the Polish State, so we need financial support to be able to continue to provide shelter and assistance to people who have lost all their possessions in one second and have nowhere to return to.

We help refugees create a new life in Poland and integrate into the local society.

In our centers we provide:

• accommodation
• food
• medical assistance
• psychological assistance
• education including the possibility of free placement of children in school and kindergarten
• safe arrival and pick-up of children from kindergarten by transportation provided by us
• information assistance on available social benefits
• assistance in obtaining necessary documents
• assistance in finding a job

At the moment, we spend more than PLN 145,000 a month on food. On top of that, there are growing utility bills and the cost of maintaining the centers and the foundation.

We are looking for good-hearted people, companies, sponsors to support us.
We want to continue to bring help and shelter to those in need and create a safe place where they can start a new future.

However, without your help, we will not be able to continue our activities.
