A new support point for refugees from Ukraine in Warsaw at 85/87 Chmielna Street.

The “Plicz-o-plicz” (Shoulder to Shoulder) Counseling and Assistance Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

You are welcome to use:

– psychological support

individual professional support for adults, adolescents and children, in appropriate conditions

– general counseling

identification of individual needs, answering questions, referral to zwentrztrzne partners if necessary (e.g. power of attorney, long-term psychotherapy)

– consultation on legalization of residence – this will be handled by the “Nasz Wybór” Foundation

The “Nasz Wybór” Foundation will run a consultation point, providing information primarily on legalizing the stay of people who came from Ukraine due to the war. Consultants, if necessary, will provide support in filling out documents or communicating (by phone) with the institution providing assistance in the needed area.

– case worker assistance

Clients with more complex needs will be referred to services provided by social workers who specialize in supporting clients with disabilities, victims of violence, representatives of various minorities. If necessary, social workers will accompany clients to access public education, the health care system, certificates of disability recognition.

– Day care center for children – run by the Foundation For Freedom

Place and animation and educational program prepared for children aged 3-7, 7-9, whose parents/guardians hold counseling, consultations, meetings at the Center or run other errands outside the building leaving their children in the care of staff. The maximum time a child can stay in the care of our educators is 4 hours.
