Pursuant to an agreement between the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and Caritas of the Zamojsko-Lubaczowska Diocese, from 20 July to 31 December 2023, a project entitled. „S. O. S. for Ukraine!” for the professional activation and social integration of foreigners residing in Poland. The offer was selected in the tender entitled „Together We Can Do More – First Edition of the Activation Programme for Foreigners for 2022-2023” within the framework of the Resort Activation Programme for Foreigners for 2022-2025.

The activities targeted at foreigners during the aforementioned period are: psychological support, legal and social counselling, integration assistance and educational and therapeutic activities for children and young people. The task will be implemented on the territory of the Zamojsko-Lubaczowska Diocese and all activities addressed to foreigners are free of charge. The project is implemented by Caritas of the Zamojsko-Lubaczowska Diocese in partnership with three entities:

Specialist Support Centre in Tyszowce,
Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Tyszowce
Social Welfare Home in Lubaczów.

Classes and individual counselling will take place within the diocese.

In addition, the branch supports Ukraine by collecting medicines as part of the „Medicines for Ukraine” project.
