The public organization Defenders of the People of Ukraine and Persons with Disabilities of the Sumy Region helps the population in difficult life circumstances that they are unable to overcome with the help of available means and opportunities. Most of the people we care about are combatants and persons with disabilities, and the population affected by the war in Ukraine. The non-governmental organization “Defenders of the People of Ukraine” of persons with disabilities of the Sumy region was registered in 2015 and cares for more than 350 combatants, persons with disabilities and their family members.
